Mabry Kordsmeier - 2nd Runner-Up

1.What is the funniest thing you remember as a child?
It’s funny how looking up to someone can take on a whole new meaning. My Dad is 6’11” and no matter where we are people stare and ask about his height. I was 5 years old and noticed the attention and had enough and shouted, “he’s my Dad he’s 6’11” and he’s awesome!” My family was mortified but now we all laugh about it and joke that to be that tall you must be awesome!

2.What is the one piece of clothing you wish you owned?
I believe in the power of shoes. Yes, I mean tennis shoes! I believe that Nike Dunks and Air Force Ones are the best for everyday wear. Sneakers are a canvas for self-expression, effortlessly blending with any outfit or style combo plus they go with everything with so many colors! I would love to add a pair of Forest Green Dunks to my collection.

3.What season of the year is your favorite and why?
Where I live in Northwest Arkansas, we are blessed to experience four defined seasons, however, my favorite time of the year is summer. There is something magical about the long, sun drenched, summer days being on the lake with family and friends. Our annual family beach trip to 30a is something I look forward to each year! Every season is special, but Summer will always be superior to me!

5.What song makes you think of yourself?
Competitive dance has always been a huge part of my life. I performed a solo to Lauren Daigle’s “You Say”. This song really spoke to me. It was not just a reminder to know my identity, it was a reminder that when I’m weak, God is strong. Dring the times I have felt inadequate he always makes me feel adequate. Because of him I am enough and find hope and identity with his truth!
